The institute for the Blind and Partially Sighted is a national institution with competences within development, education and business related rehabilitation of adults and young people with visual impairments. 

 

Janne Hansen:

 

Head of the department IBS-Business and responsible for the project, Vision Trade Centre.

Educated as a social worker.

Graduated with diploma in research and evaluation of social work.

Educated as consultant with specialty in systemic thinking.

The department IBS-Business offers currently 9 educations med business related competences and educations with a vocational slant. Visually impaired people from all of Denmark are being educated by IBS-Business, with employment rates of 60 – 80 % after graduation.
